Clean Sweep for UCMS in National Awards
Melbourne, VIC, 28 September 2007 – Continuing an exciting year for recently ASX listed United Customer Management Solutions (UCMS), the company has secured the ATA National Contact Centre of the Year Award 2007 for its National Activation Centre.
Run by the Australian Teleservices Association (ATA), the ATA National Awards is an annual event that attracts entries from customer-centric companies across the country.
The UCMS National Activation Centre contended amongst an exceptionally strong field in the 120+ Full Time Employee category, the premier category in the Australian marketplace.
UCMS outgunned BT Financial, Austar Entertainment, Centrelink and Soul to take out the coveted National Award for 2007, having already secured the Victoria State Award in August. The award was presented on Friday night at the Four Seasons, Sydney and was accepted by a delighted Suzy McWhirter who manages the National Activation Centre in Melbourne.
Chief Executive Officer, Denice Pitt said today “In winning both the National and State Awards for 2007, UCMS has confirmed its place as a service leader amongst some of the most sophisticated contact centres and most customer oriented companies in the country. I would like to personally thank our wonderful centre manager and her entire team for this success, which reflects so positively on the company as a whole.”
